Tim Cook Exposes iPhone Camera Secret

Apple CEO Tim Cook stated during his visit to Sony's factory that the partnership is not going away anytime soon.

This strongly suggests that camera sensors manufactured by Sony will also be included in upcoming iPhone models.

There is no doubting that images taken with iPhone cameras are amazing and among the best available on any smartphone.

Did you know that Apple doesn't produce iPhone cameras, but obtains the sensors from Sony?

For the first time, Tim Cook confirmed that Sony manufactures camera sensors for iPhones. The Apple CEO is presently on a supplier trip in Japan.

Apple announced on Tuesday that it has invested more than $100 billion in its Japanese supply network over the last five years.

Since 2019, the company has increased its spending on Japanese suppliers by more than 30%, with a network of approximately 1,000 companies.

Last month, Nikkei claimed that Sony will supply Apple with its latest image sensor for next year's iPhone.

Sony Semiconductor Solutions' new image sensor will be made in Nagasaki and sold to Apple and other smartphone makers, according to a report.
