Kirstie Louise Alley was an actress from America. She was born on January 12, 1951 in Wichita, Kansas.

Her father, Robert Deal Alley, owns a lumber business, and her mother is Lillian Alley. Her siblings were Colette and Craig.

Alley graduated from Wichita Southeast High School in 1969. She attended Kansas State University for two years, leaving after her sophomore year.

One of Alley's earliest acting roles was in a 1978 Quark episode. She portrayed Sheila in the 1981 film One More Chance.

After starring in the iconic television series Cheers, Alley became well-known. From 1987 to 1993, she played Rebecca Howe for 148 episodes.

Alley was well recognized for her role in the Look Who's Talking film series starring John Travolta. Among Alley's many acting credits are The Love Boat and Summer School.

Kirstie Alley's estimated net worth at the time of her death was $40 million. In addition to performing, Alley also earned money through writing and producing.

Kirstie Alley died at the age of 71 on December 5, 2022. She had been suffering quietly from cancer, which wasn't found  until recently.
