It’s not because I want to be a woman. I am a man dressed in cosmetics. It’s entertaining, so I enjoy wearing it.” Manny understands how prominent he has become and attributes his success to his passion for makeup.

Manny’s response to the only man on the People’s Most Beautiful List was published in Life & Style magazine. He revealed: “I never thought of myself as a trailblazer, so it’s been really crazy. It’s been pretty awesome,” he added. “I was one of the first male influencers in the beauty industry and I had to fight tooth and nail to get a company to recognize me as someone in [that industry].” The beauty pioneer also expressed his gratitude to his followers and said that without them he would not be where he is today in the cosmetics industry.
