Drug peddler, 9 medics arrested in K’taka for cannabis use, peddling
Drug peddler Mohammad Rauf was also arrested and police seized 2 kg of the narcotic substance.
According to the police commissioner, 38-year-old OCI Neel Kishorilal Ramji Sha was arrested on January 8. She studied at a reputed medical college in the city and engaged in the cannabis business. Nine other individuals were arrested on January 10 after she was questioned by police.
The suspects were brought before the court on Wednesday and were taken into police custody for two days.
