Casino resorts are some of the most interesting and fun establishments. You can choose from more well-known locations such as Las Vegas to more exotic locations such as Paradise Island and Nassau in the Bahamas.

These are the places that every traveler and curious soul longs to visit at least once in their life. And depending on their travel plans, they just might make it there. Others are simply satisfied with finding the best online casinos at https://www.pacasino.com/. Yet visitors to casino resorts almost always leave with a sense of awe at all the glitz and glamor these establishments have to offer. It’s an experience of a lifetime.

However, not much is known about the owners of these resorts. For the most part, they stay hidden behind the scenes and occasionally enjoy the games their casino has to offer. Still, not everyone has managed (or wanted to) avoid the public eye.

Below we list a few celebrities who are (or were) proud owners of their own casino resorts!

#1: Donald Trump

The first celebrity on our list is also the most unexpected. Former US President and businessman Donald Trump was the owner of the Trump Entertainment Resorts in Las Vegas and more. With over 5 locations in California, Indiana and Atlantic City, Trump has clearly put a lot of effort into these establishments.

But more than that, Donald Trump’s career is mostly about real estate. His father was a real estate developer and Trump managed to carry on the family business and even make the company’s name successful. Today he owns many different financial buildings, hotels and casinos.

Interestingly, Trump has also appeared in other media outlets. Fans of the 1992 comedy Home Alone 2: Lost in New York will recognize the former US president’s cameo in the film.

#2: Steve Wynn

Some may easily recognize Steve Wynn by his nickname as the King of Las Vegas. Those who love gambling and casinos could not avoid hearing his name, because Wynn is the owner of the most famous casino in the world, the Bellagio. Bellagio opened in 1998 and has been one of the main attractions in Las Vegas ever since.

This resort, inspired by the villages of Europe, also shows an impressive dancing fountain. To make the experience even more amazing, the fountain syncs with the music coming from the speakers. In general, it is really pleasing to the eye.

However, Steve Wynn’s impact extends far beyond the Bellagio resort. Wynn also played a vital role in the expansion and popularization of the Las Vegas strip. He opened several notable hotels and resorts that make Las Vegas the gambling paradise it is today.

Knowing all this, we think Steve Wynn’s nickname is well deserved!

#3: Stanley Ho

Stanley Ho was a businessman and an important figure in bringing gambling to Macau. In fact, Ho was also a philanthropist. Incredible, Stanley Ho contributed to China’s Poly Art Museuman organization that aims to protect Chinese cultural relics.

He started his career as a businessman in 1961 when he won the public tender for Macau’s gambling license along with his two business partners. He then worked on tourism promotion and infrastructure development in Macau.

Stanley Ho would go on to open several casino hotels and resorts, with the flagship Lisboa Casino Hotel becoming one of the most successful. After his success in this field, Ho continued to invest in Macau and the development of this region of China.

He owned many other businesses including tourism, real estate, banking and airlines. It is safe to say that Stanley Ho was one of the most prominent figures in Macau’s cultural and tourism development.
