BMF season 2 is confirmed by Starz: release date and trailer out
After a fantastic debut, BMF is making a comeback and the program has just released the first trailer for the upcoming second season.
The true story of the Flenory brothers, Demetrius “Meech” and Terry, forms the basis for the movie BMF. The program centers on two brothers who, after rising from the streets of southwestern Detroit in the late 1980s, formed one of the largest and most powerful crime families in American history.
Curtis Jackson, better known as 50 Cent, and Randy Huggins, who created the show, produced it. In September last year, Starz released the first season. Charles and Meech are played by Russell Hornsby and Demetrius Flenory Jr., respectively. Meech’s son Flenory Jr., who portrays his father in the program, is Meech’s real son.
BMF’s Eric Kofi Abrefa teases the Power Universe and season 2 of the show.
The first season, which ended in November 2021, featured cameos from Kash Doll, Serayah, Snoop Dogg, and Eminem. The first episode of the second season will air on Starz on January 6.
More drama and crime are hinted at in the second season trailer. A year ago, Lamar Silas, an on-screen antagonist played by actor Eric Kofi-Abrefa, was dissected by the actor.
“While I didn’t worship my character, I did like him. I felt sympathy for him and understood why he did what he did.”
“Whether or not his dedication made sense to other people, I liked him and the things he was passionate about. He was intensely focused on everything he had immersed himself in,” the Power actor noted.
And even though she wasn’t his, his love for Zoe gave him depth. Lamar wasn’t just a murderer.”
